ANOTHER DAY SLIPS AWAY
(Roger Ferguson/R.Stevie Moore) 7/16/06

New sun, get up, get out, go hard
Hook up, get down, go home
Sit back, eat up, tune in, retire
Impress the memory foam

Sleep and eat, love, work and play
Another day slips away
Sleep and eat, love, work and play
Another day slips away

Again arise, light out, look sharp
Think fast, spend, save, and earn
Give up, go home, make out, make art
In spite of no return

Sleep and eat, love, work and play
Another day slips away
Sleep and eat, love, work and play
Another day slips away

Days rushing by
Moving at the speed of light
Like a dream, like a vapor
Winter days -- summer nights

Whirling past much too soon
Setting suns, rising moons
Seasons come say hello
Say goodbye people go
Say goodbye people go
Say goodbye people go

Another sun, take off, chill out
Breathe in, relax, just be
Get right, turn left, eat out, get back
Enjoy the scenery

Sleep and eat, a love, work and play
Another day slips away
Sleep and eat, a love, work and play
Another day slips away.

Unified by a seductive pop rock logic....

Subject: Unified by a Seductive

Delicate Tension
excerpt from KURT LODER's
original Trouser Press review
TP41 - August 1979 issue

"....I can only urge some latently adventurous
Major Label to bestow a few of those hot dogs
in the satin baseball jackets up off their A&R
asses and out to Verona, New Jersey, for a
reminder of what actual talent sounds like. I
mean, here's R. Stevie, bereft of the requisite
beans to book himself some stretch-out time
in a legit studio, and Fleetwood Mac's been
dicking around with their "long awaited"
next album for what, two, three years? Is
there no fucking justice?

Until the Verona Visionary's turned loose
in a real studio, though, we can be truly
satisfied with Delicate Tension, a broadly
eclectic album unified by a seductive pop-
rock logic, and distinguished by some of the
most accurate and animated overdubbing
you're likely to hear coming from any
quarter. Vocally, Moore--who played
virtually all of the instruments here--most
closely resembles Syd Barrett during his
Madcap Laughs phase...."

The estate of the late R. Stevie Moore noted Pulitzer nominee is represented in the North American territories by

Hormonal, Physical, Psychological, Interpersonal, Sexual, Nutritional, Economic, Social, Ecological and Spiritual Artists Association (Vaudeville, Tennessee)

RS of the M endorses Zildjian symbols, Fernandes y Rickybacka elektrik guidarres, Shure mikes, Les Paul log, Yamahama home pinanner (which sinulates everything), and Memex compact cassette tape (had a coupon). Taiyo Yuden vs. LITE-ON. "Your teeth are like stars, they come out at night." Roger, can I aks you a personal question? : HOWM I DOIN?
